
Dr Edmund CHAN

Dr Edmund Chan is one of the plastic surgeons in Hong Kong, now in private practice.
He graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1987 and trained in various surgical fields and eventually concentrating in the field of plastic surgery.
He is a double fellow plastic surgeon in Hong Kong, namely fellow of plastic surgeon in Hong Kong which mainly covers on soft tissue surgery in the exterior of whole body, and an International Fellow of Chang Gung University, Taiwan where he focused in facial bone surgery, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial surgery as well as related soft tissue surgery.
He was trained in Queen Victoria Hospital and McIndoe Centre in East Grinsted of England, and exhibited exchange and training in University of Cape Town, South Africa, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York and various institutions in South Korea, Japan, and Chang Gung University in Taiwan.
In his last employment with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he developed microsurgery in the Department of Surgery in Prince of Wales Hospital before he left to private practice.
He was an honorary assistant professor in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and was an honorary scholar in the Baptist University of Hong Kong.
Dr Chan is active in various local and international conferences, and presented in various international conferences, he was also invited over 100 times to deliver comments and interviews in TV and paper media.
